Porter Roofing Phone
I felt Porter Roofing was extremely honest. All in all, I must commend Porter Roofing for the staff they have assembled.Porter Roofing was very efficient.

Porter Roofing installs and repairs roofs using a wide range of roofing materials including tiles, shingles, flat roofs, and metal roofs. Each roofing material has unique features and comes in a variety of colors and finishes. Porter Roofing evaluates your roofing project and helps you select the most appropriate roof type for your project budget and specifications.

Foam Roofs

Porter Roofing has installed thousands of commercial and residential foam roof systems throughout the Phoenix area over the last 20 years. We are the Phoenix area foam roof specialists. A foam roof consists of sprayed foam applied to almost any roof surface. The foam dries within seconds and conforms to the roof surface, filling in dips, sealing areas around pipes airtight, and closing all leaks. The sprayed foam creates a single, seamless barrier that is leak-proof, protective, and provides excellent insulation. The foam also adapts to the building's expansion and contraction over the years without cracking.

Foam roofs can save up to 40% in energy costs compared to other roofing systems. They are extremely lightweight, which means that lighter building materials may be possible, resulting in construction cost savings as well.

In use for more than 40 years, foam roofs cost about the same as a tar and gravel roof, and typically last for the life of the building, which makes foam roofing an ideal choice for a commercial roofing solution.

Flat Roofs

Porter Roofing installs many flat roofs each year and understands their unique installation challenges. Flat roofs are covered with a seamless, continuing material on a slightly sloped roof to allow water runoff. Flat roofs typically last over 10 years.

Shingle Roofs

Shingle roofs are very popular because they are cost-effective to install and last 20 to 50 years. Asphalt shingle roofs (also known as composition shingles, architectural shingles, and laminated shingles), are the classic residential roof and appear many homes within the United States. Shingle roofing works in steep-slope roofing applications, and is low maintenance and fire resistant.

  • Asphalt shingles consist of a durable fiberglass mat coated with asphalt and finished with ceramic mineral granules. Asphalt shingle roofing comes in a variety of colors to complement any combination of building materials and come in three types.
    • Heavyweight shingles are architectural shingles and are considered the highest quality.
    • Dimensional shingles are mid-range in quality and are currently very popular with new home builds.
    • The three tab shingle design is the lowest quality, most basic asphalt shingle.

In some situations, asphalt shingles can be nailed over an existing roof to save on installation costs.

  • Cedar shingles, also called wood shakes, come in a variety of color and thickness options. This roofing material provides great insulation, but requires more maintenance and needs regular checks for insect invasion. A cedar shingle installation is more complicated than many roofing materials, making it a more expensive roofing choice. However, if properly installed and maintained, a cedar shingle roof can last 40 years.

Tile Roofs

Tile roofs are durable and long lasting, and can withstand the wind, heavy storms and other rough weather conditions in Arizona. They can last 40 years and have a longer warranty than many roofing treatments, making them a great investment. Tile roofs are energy efficient for hot weather areas because they allow more air circulation and less direct heat transfer than other roof applications. Tile roofs using clay or concrete tiles are expensive to install, but easy to maintain, and offer a variety of color options to create a custom appearance.

  • Clay tiles roof appear most often southwest United States and complement both the southwestern and Spanish Mission home designs. Porter Roofing uses clay tiles manufactured by MonierLifetile.
  • Concrete tiles come in standard-weight and lightweight tiles in both flat and traditional "S" tile shapes.

Metal Roofs

Metal roofing comes in a variety of colors and can mimic the look of natural stone, clay tiles, or cedar shingles. Metal roofs are fire retardant, energy efficient, can last 50 years. Because metal roofs often consist post-consumer material and can be recycled after use, they are also an environmentally friendly roofing solution.

Natural Stone Roofing

Natural stone roofing, also called slate roofing or slate shingles, is a luxury roofing material found on upscale homes. Natural stone roofs are long lasting, easy to maintain, resist insects, and are fireproof.

I would like to say thank you for your excellent service and work that you provided for us on April 6, 2011.? ? I am so pleased with your company and want you to know that I would heartily recommend you to anyone.

When I called for the first time, I was stressed out after trying to work with another company to no avail.? My house was in escrow and I needed roof repairs in a timely manner and at a fair price in order to close on the house.? Mirabel and Michele spoke with me with kindness and professionalism and got me set up immediately for service.? They always called back when the said they would and always offered support.? In fact Mirabel promised me she would have a quote for me on the same day I called and she and Randy? stayed after work hours to make sure it was done and in my hands as promised.?

The work the crew did was good and was subject to a home inspector’s review after completion as requested by my buyer.? The inspector was very pleased with the repairs.

At no time did I experience the ‘run around” or any other unpleasant tactics.? Thank you so much and I wish your company much success.

My husband and I wanted to let you know how nice it was to work with your employee Chris Zimmerman. He showed professionalism, courtesy and was always on time when we had an appointment with him. If there was a delay on his end he always called to let us know he would be late which I really appreciate. He handled all the insurance paperwork so that everything went smoothly. Again, it was a pleasure working with Chris.

I am very pleased with the work done by the Porter crew. The roofers were very efficient and did an excellent job of repairs and replacemet and did a great clean-up afterwards. Also Jose who was so courteous and same with his helper, they did such a fine finish-up work on patch, repair, and paint. Bob was so easy to work with and answered my questions clearly, although I know he was under pressure to deal with all the problems from different customers personalities. Bob handled my concerns in a professional way. Thank you so much I am very glad that I went with the Porter Roofing company.

Dear Dennis, Thank you so much for doing my roof in such short notice. I really appreciated your crew and the excellent job they did.

Not only did he spend over an hour on my roof, he went through my entire property with the adjustor to help point out damages I never would have thought about!

His follow up was excellent, and after it was determined that I would not get a new roof, he made sure that your company provided a competitive estimate to make necessary repairs.

I am really impressed with the professionalism and personalism associated with this company, and will definitely remeber you if I get to the point where I need a new roof.

I can't begin to tell you how great it was to meet you yesterday. You exemplify what many people strive for as true professional, unfortunately many never succeed in this endeavor.

Further, you are an interesting person that shares many of my own experiences and for that I am glad our paths crossed.

Thank you, I look forward to a new friendship.
